Hi Helen,
I have many memories of John - including when I was lost on the approach to the airfield (one of my first lessons in 1979).
Regret I can't attend the funeral, I'll be in Spain - family holiday.
I assume Jim will be there and perhaps you will remember me to him - we had many enjoyable evenings after gliding.
My sympathies to you and family.
