that your dad was rather special.

I knew him for about 50 years and always found him to be friendly and
approachable, as well as being a 'fount of all knowledge' on many of the
aeronautical topics that still interest me. I drove him to the
FlyerLive event in Telford last November, where he saw the Glowfly
jet-powered glider that he had been advising on......and we then went to
the Cosford museum where he enjoyed reminiscing about many of the
aircraft he had worked on. I shall miss him.
